JUNE 19 - JULY 2 2012
Tour Of GERMANY (Jazz Fans Join Us!)
June 2012
We fly into Leipzig Germany. The Focus of the tour is the
CanAmGer JB playing at the Quedlinburg Jazz Festival in
Quedlinburg Germany. Just prior to the Festival, we stop
two nights at nearby Magdeburg Germany for a few gigs before
the festival, which will include a concert on a river boat
on the Elbe River. Quedlinburg and Magdeburg are in the
North/Central part of Germany. After the Jazz festival,
we travel south, past Leipzig Germany (possible gig there)
to an area in the south of Germany, near Munich. Here we
play together with our german trumpet player's Charivari
Jazz Band in a rather old bavarian restaurant in village
of Unterbrunn close to Munich. We hope to play on a small
cruise ship in Stamberg Lake the next day. We shall also
visit another location still farther south, at Markt
Schoenberg Germany not far from the Czeck border, and
play a couple of concerts there. We fly back to USA from
Munich Germany. We will all travel together, within
Germany, in a 50 passenger bus.
